Only had time for the Porter and a Stout but they were above average for a chain. I'll definitely return to sample their other house brews and seasonals.

Went there two nights in a row. One night service was really great, another night the bartender was determined to completely ignore me sitting at the bar with an empty glass. Overall, reasonably good beer. It's a chain restaurant so it has a pretty "stock" set of brews with few surprises. The Extreme Steam specialty brew was pretty nice. Was looking for an IPA but they didn't have it on tap at the time. Piranha Pale was good.

I work nearby so I eat here about every week. This BJ's has been open less than a year. BJ's beer selection is wide but watery. The best bet are the seasonal specialties, the IPA in particular. On a regular basis, I go for the Pale Ale or the Porter, though both are a little light for my taste. The staff are always enthusiastic at BJ's and that does count for something. The overall ambience is of a large sports bar restaurant with trendy and hip female pop singers blaring.
